You know that feeling when you come back from a radical trip (one where you traveled a long time for even longer distances), and someone eagerly asks you how your trip was … and the trip was in fact a gajrillion different kinds of awesome and you learned so much and could write endless detailed pages about how incredible it was, but all you can say is, “amazing” … ? Well, this workshop was kinda like that for us (minus the long time and distance)… simply put, amazing. Nirav Patel + Ed Peers are photographers that we’ve [heavily] admired for some time now, and they produce some seriously mind-blowing work … more like wizards than photographers really. Having the opportunity to even brush elbows with these guys was amazing … and then to learn from them? The ultimate level of amazing. And as if that wasn’t awesome enough, the other photographers in attendance were wildly talented and instant-friends type of people (head on over to the links at the end of this post to check out their work!), we feel so fortunate to have met and learned from everyone there. A HUGE big ol’ thanks to Nirav + Ed for their significant generosity, vision, humility, and for being inspirational masters of the craft. Here’s a little photosynopsis of our workshop weekend in Point Reyes …
And you really should check these other photographers out, if looking at loads of great photography is your thing 😉 …
