Celene + Leo Expecting // San Mateo South Bay Maternity Session

These two (actually, three!)…we took a lil family excursion up north to photograph the beautiful Celene + Leo, and their lil bun in the oven :) We put these guys through the ringer, from bare skin in some chilling temps to caravaning around the South Bay chasing the sun, and attempting to escape the wind and fog (and eventually succumbing to both…which thank goodness we did because my mind (and camera) nearly exploded when we captured the incredibly gorgeous mama just as the fog rolled in over the mountains, hair whipping and all…mama magic…) And all we got was “okay!”s and “sure!”s the entire time- thanks guys for being such troopers. What an awesome family they are and we can’t wait to meet the mini man. Without further ado, a lot of our favorites!

Michael + Bridget Tie the Knot! // Camp Kennolyn Soquel Wedding

We love it when strangers become friends…Michael + Bridget contacted us for our holiday promotion back in 2012 (you may remember their holiday-impromptu-engagement-session here). We were honored when they asked us to photograph their Kennolyn wedding, which was an amazingly gorgeous and fantastic weekend bonanza complete with Groomlympics and a radical afterparty. The entire event was loadssss of fun (as was to be expected from these two). And we got to work with their lovely wedding planner, Jennifer from Something Blue (find them here!) Ryan + Jessica Tie the Knot!! // Highlands Park Wedding

Zack + Elisa // Soquel Love Shoot

Well, those of you out there in the internet world who know the lovely Zack + Elisa know we’re a little late with this post…because they tied the knot this past weekend!!! And we had a great freaking time being GUESTS at this radical wedding (we even have the family photobooth film strips and 90s dance move bruises to prove it). But we couldn’t not share a few from a little love shoot we did for them a few weeks ago (better late than never, right???) These two are just the sweetest people and we’re truly honored to call them dear friends. Really beautiful, inside and out. Congrats guys, we love you to pieces. Jordan + Sola + Nova // Gizdich Ranch Family Shoot

We just love love LOVE this family (see more of them here). So, we normally don’t make personal blog posts, but documenting our son’s first six months has been quite the photographic journey, and we finally felt compelled to share :) Sorting through the hundreds of photographs brought back recent memories that already seem light years away…and also served as a friendly reminder to leave the “nice” camera laying around more often as the number of iPhone photos are in the thousands (no kidding).
