One of the absolute BEST parts of our “job” is the straight up belly laughter we partake in on our shoots … good ol’ medicine for the soul. JK + Geneva are seriously radical people, and the four of us belly laughed the ENTIRE evening. They also toughed out a legitimate day hike with us in some blazing temps (we didn’t anticipate actual cliff scaling or rock climbing, but these things tend to happen on our shoots more often than not … future clients, you’ve been warned!) This shoot really felt like hiking/hanging with some good friends out in the super beautiful ecological preserve in the Bonny Doon Mountains (the “moonrocks” for you SC/BD natives out there) more than it did a photo shoot (just the way we like it). These two have such a sweet, kind, and playful love, and it was a pleasure to capture it. And, these guys are getting married this weekend!! WOOHOO! Here’s some of our favs …

We can’t get enough of these two … or this shoot. Nicole + Ronald are so incredibly sweet, both individually, and even more so to each other. They were were so much fun to capture. And the delicious little pockets of light among the Pogonip woods weren’t bad either! Here’s a lot of our favorites, cuz (as always) we couldn’t just choose a couple 😉

We can’t tell you how much we love it when our clients are up for anything … tree climbing and ground laying especially. We’re also incredibly lucky to have such FUN clients, who laugh at our [oftentimes bad] jokes and genuinely like to have a good time. This shoot brings all of that awesomeness to mind because Jessica + Andrew are just that – fun, so in love, and friggin hilarious. We gotta admit, their jokes were WAY better and funnier than ours, so we were all laughing A LOT. We loved having our cameras on these two and can’t hardly wait for their wedding in September!!
